JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Pennsylvania State University- Counseling and Psychological Services Office is seeking a candidate for an Administrative Support Assistanttoserve as the first point of contact, in person and via phone, maintain confidential information and coordinate travel arrangements.The successful candidatewill be responsible for the following:
Greet customers, provide information and refer as appropriate
Screen and processroutinetelephone communications,mailand requests
Schedule and maintain calendar ofappointments, meetings,travel itineraries, etc.
Coordinate travel arrangements, make reservations, and process reimbursements
Maintain files and databases;assemble and format data to create simple reports
Prepare documents, meeting materials,correspondence
Update and make routine changes to web pages
Maintain confidentialandsensitive information and materials
Recordand distribute meeting minutes
Composeand editwritten communication
Maintain inventory and order/purchase office supplies; arrange for equipment-maintenance; process work orders for facilities repairs/needs
This position typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus1year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
