Job Description

Education Abroad (EA) is a fast-paced and student-centered environment that serves as the locus of global program advising, policy development, program support, and records management for credit-bearing study and intern experiences abroad.

The Student Engagement and Advising Assistant (SEAA) will assist with the management of the Education Abroad Peer Adviser program and support the advising staff in serving students who visit or contact our office for education abroad advising each semester. The SEAA will also develop trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance the quality of the program and host monthly meetings for our peer advisers. This position will also provide support to the Education Abroad advisers, including general education abroad advising, participation in recruitment and outreach activities, and administrative tasks as needed.

Please note, Education Abroad staff are currently working remotely. This position is currently remote but is subject to change as Penn State leadership updates the guidelines for return-to-campus work.
