Job Summary

Primary responsibilities include support for all events, lectures, talks, conferences, workshops, and seminars sponsored by the Department, as well as significant financial processing tasks (reimbursements, invoice payments, monthly reconciliation, wire transfers, journal entries, vendor setup, and petty cash.)

Job-Specific Responsibilities

Supervise student workers.
EVENTS: Assist faculty and students with logistics related to conferences and individual invited speakers, including the planning of receptions, travel, lodging, media services, location reservations.
FINANCIAL: PCard reviewer for staff PCards. Petty cash administrator. B2P (payment system) requestor and Level 2 approver for all payment types. Wire transfer coordinator. Concur (reimbursement system) delegate for faculty. Financial reconciliations and other finance-related assistance to department administrator for budgeting and reconciliations.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of related office experience.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a busy office. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization essential.
