Position Description
The Zhuang lab invites applications for a Fellow position. Members of the Zhuang lab bring diverse training in chemistry, physics, biology, computer science, and engineering to develop novel imaging technologies, molecular probes, and computational tools for image analysis, with current focuses including genome-scale imaging, single-cell spatial genomics, and super-resolution imaging. These tools are then applied to fundamental questions in cell and tissue biology. The Fellow will conduct experimental planning, execution, analysis, and troubleshooting with a high degree of independence, supported by continued guidance from lab leadership, with work advancing toward publication in peer-reviewed journals.

- Conduct research in molecular biology, imaging, and genomic technologies to study cellular and tissue organization.
- Publish and present research findings in high-quality scientific journals and conferences.
- Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and students on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for undergraduate students.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field
- A previous body of relevant research work
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
