TITLE OF POSITION:
Adjunct Instructor, Introductory Physics
STATUS:
Part-time, one-semester contract, with possibility of renewal
DEPARTMENT:
College of Humanities and Sciences
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be qualified to teach "Physics 101,” an introductory algebra-based physics course. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.
Job Description
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
M.A., Ph.D. (or ABD) in Physics or related field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Fall semester course will be offered in person on our East Falls campus: There are three available sections: TR 10.15–12.15pm, TR 8.30-10.45am and MWF 11.30-1.00pm. Classes begin on August 24 and final grades are due by December 21.
