ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with The Citadel Foundation in the search for a President and Chief Executive
Officer.

Reporting to The Citadel Foundation's Board of Directors, the President & CEO will be responsible for all aspects of the
operations of The Citadel Foundation, a charitable organization with over $300 million in assets and a current annual fundraising revenue
goal of $52.5 million. The President & CEO will be responsible for strategic leadership, financial management, philanthropy, board
management and key stakeholder relationships. Also, in coordination with the Foundation Board President and the President of The Citadel,
they will develop and implement a wide-reaching fundraising program that meets the current and future funding needs of The Citadel
(TC).

The President & CEO, with the approval of The Citadel's President and the TCF Board, typically serves concurrently as the
Vice President for Institutional Advancement (VPIA). The President & CEO of TCF is a TCF employee and, as the VPIA, serves as The Citadel's
chief advancement officer. In that role, they will help ensure collaboration and coordination of solicitations and other activities among
The Citadel's four institutionally related foundations, helping ensure that outreach to donors, alumni, and other constituencies are
coordinated and aligned with the mission and goals of The Citadel.

The Citadel Foundation, as it is known today, emerged from a
campus-wide consolidation of fundraising responsibilities in 2000 and is now responsible for raising funds for all purposes except athletic
scholarships, which remain primarily under the purview of The Citadel Brigadier Foundation. Donations to The Citadel Foundation go to a
variety of programs including academic scholarships, faculty support, academic and athletic facilities, individual academic schools, program
funds, and vital expenses not covered by tuition or fees. When combined with unrestricted annual operating contributions and other gifts and
grants from alumni, corporations, foundations, the federal government, and friends of the college, the Foundation generally provides an
average of $30 million annually to support and advance The Citadel's mission.

The Citadel, with an iconic campus located in
Charleston, South Carolina, offers a classic military college education for young men and women focused on leadership excellence and
academic distinction. The approximately 2,300 members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets are not required to serve in the military, but
about one-third of each class earn commissions to become officers in every branch of US military service. Citadel alumni have served the
nation, their states, and their communities as principled leaders since 1842. The Citadel is ranked as the Best Regional University in the
South and has also been consecutively named Best Public University in the South by US News & World Report for 14 years and Best Public
College for Veterans in the South for seven years.

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and
at least ten years of progressive career experience and organizational leadership is required for this position. The Citadel Foundation will
consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. If you are excited about this role and feel that you can contribute to the
Foundation, but your experience does not exactly align with every qualification listed above, we encourage you to apply. All applications
must be accompanied by a cover letter and résumé. Cover letters should be responsive to the mission of The Citadel Foundation and the
responsibilities and qualifications specified in the position prospectus.

The salary range for this position is $350,000 to
$360,000. The Citadel Foundation offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with
employer contributions, tuition assistance, and generous paid time off.
