Professor of Accounting (Tenure-Track)
Kansas Wesleyan University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in the
Department of Business and Accounting. We seek candidates to apply for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Accounting.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching, scholarship, and service within the university community.
This role will involve teaching undergraduate business courses, engaging in student development , and contributing to departmental,
university and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in a wide
variety of accounting courses. - Advise and mentor students, facilitating their academic and professional development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other governance activities.
- Engage in professional
development and applicable community service and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- MBA, DBA, or
Ph.D. in Business Administration (credentialed to teach undergrad accounting courses). - Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a
commitment to liberal arts education. - Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students in a diverse
environment. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
