Job SummaryThe Group Exercise Instructor is a fitness position with responsibilities in the areas of group exercise and member experience.
General Responsibilities
- Meets the needs of all IU Indianapolis Jaguar Campus Recreation group exercise participants.
- Maintains a safe and inclusive environment for members and facilitating group exercise classes for members (Yoga, Cycling, Zumba, Step, HIIT, Bootcamp, Pilates, Circuit Training, Etc.).
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED).
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- 6 months of Group Fitness Instructing and/or Personal Training.
SKILLS
Required
- Proficient communication skills.
