Job Description
Austin Peay State University's College of Business, in pursuit of AACSB accreditation,
invites qualified applications for an instructor position in economics for the 2024/25
academic year. The successful applicants will primarily teach finance courses at the
undergraduate level.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

APPENDIX
**Instructional Practitioners (IP) classification requires:
o A faculty member had current and substantial work experience (generally exceeding
three years in a supervisory role) related to the field of teaching at the time of hiring,
and
o The faculty member has earned at least six professional engagement points within
the last five years.
The Professional engagement points follow: The experience must be within the
last five years.
Engagement Activities
Each full year of relevant professional work experience (3 points per activity)
Other professional engagement activities (1 point per activity)
Each applicant must include the names and contact information for three references,
one of which must be from your most recent or current employer, with your application
materials. Many people add this to the end of the CV/Resume.
