Position Summary
La Salle University's Natural Sciences department has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach introductory biology and microbiology lecture and laboratory classes for first-year biology, nursing, and pre-health majors. These courses are generally offered in-person during general work hours.

Essential Duties
* Teach assigned course(s).
* Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives.
* Provide timely grading and feedback to students.
* Provide guidance and support to students.
Required Qualifications
In your cover letter, please describe your biology teaching experience and/or qualifications for teaching biology. Please provide 2-3 professional references in your application, including a previous supervisor.

Essential Duties

Required Qualifications
- An "all but dissertation" progress toward a PhD in a field of biology or a masters degree in a field of biology.
- A PhD, MD, or terminal degree in a biology or health-related field.
- Experience or desire for teaching introductory biology courses at the college or high school levels.
- The job requires the ability to teach lecture or lab sections of microbiology.
- The job requires movement around the classroom or laboratory.
