The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on-campus, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position. Candidates with experience in pediatrics as a pediatric nurse practitioner or family nurse practitioner are sought to teach undergraduate and graduate nursing students in classroom, clinical, and community settings.Auburn University is one of the nation's premier land, sea, and space grant institutions. Auburn offers Bachelor's, First Professional, Master's, Educational Specialist, and Doctoral degrees and is an institution that is both highly research-active and committed to maintaining teaching excellence.
The College of Nursing admits traditional BSN students each spring and RN to BSN students each semester. We offer a Master's in Nursing with Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator options. Doctoral programs include the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Auburn University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing at the time employment begins. Must have current clinical skills and hold certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner with experience in pediatrics.Desired Qualifications
Doctorate in Nursing or related field at the time employment begins. Teaching experience in a baccalaureate program and certified pediatric nurse practitioner.Special Instructions to Applicants
