- Recognized national reputation of research excellence and superior teaching skills in the field of Economics.
- Record of scholarship sufficient for appointment as an Associate or Full Professor.
- Sustained record of high-quality publications.
- Familiarity with effective teaching practices and mentoring approaches that support students from a wide range of backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:

Description:The Department of Economics in the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for the Chong K. Liew Chair in Economics, at the Associate or Full Professor level. A successful candidate must be an outstanding researcher with a substantial research record and a strong commitment to teaching and outreach. The teaching load is 1:1 while holding the endowed position. Contributions to graduate (Ph.D. and M.A.) and undergraduate programming are expected. The appointment will begin August 16, 2026.
