Job Description

The Coordinator of Examination Services for the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) is responsible for the support of the preparation and maintenance of examinations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or *2-3 years experience in an academic setting

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate coursework taken in statistics or higher level math (or verifiable experience)

Job Duties
  • promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large
  • promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
  • communicate professionally and effectively with course directors, faculty, designated proctors and Information Services support in preparation for exam day
  • prepare and set-up exams preparation and administration schedules
  • collect and accurately enter exam questions with accompanying images from designated course directors and faculty
  • accurately enter exam question categories for each exam question for performance and outcomes reporting
  • manage, supervise and assign proctors during examinations
  • monitor security, confidentiality, and quality control of all prepared exams
  • create and maintain score spreadsheets for each designated exam
  • modify score spreadsheets according to course director requests and in compliance with syllabi language
  • enter all exam and assessment scores into learning management system grade center
  • manage administration of exam during exam day
  • serve as proctor during examinations as needed
  • provide reports to the faculty, deans and student progress committee as requested
  • work with student services to accurately account for student lists and courses
  • participate on university committees
  • complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites
  • perform other duties as assigned.
