Overview
Providence College's baccalaureate program in Biology seeks candidates for a one-year full-time visiting faculty position beginning in August 2025. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to and/or experience with engaging diverse students both in the classroom and potentially through collaborative research experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach upper-level courses in Microbiology with Lab, and possibly a section of general biology for majors. Providence College offers a competitive salary, and the position includes health and dental insurance benefits.
Education and Experience
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D., a strong commitment to undergraduate education, and be able to foster an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere among students and faculty. Candidates with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology are also encouraged to apply.
