Location

(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Oversees the daily operations of the center. Assists with daily operations of the center appointment programs. Coordinates and supports tutors in creating, scheduling, promoting and preparing for workshops, club and/or group events. Supervises and evaluates student tutors. Assists in developing and conducting training programs. Increases community engagement and fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Demonstrates center's tutoring best practices for student assistants, tutors, students and faculty
2. Maintains accurate records and processes information in a timely manner to inform scheduling decisions
3. Assists in creating and disseminating print, digital and social media promotional marketing materials
4. Schedules training sessions and maintains records of training topics tutors have completed for certification purposes
5. Supervises assigned student assistants (SAs)
6. Provides input on personnel decisions (i.e., interviewing, hiring and evaluating tutors), schedules, approves time and conducts performance management for assigned student assistants
7. Attends events and meetings to represent the interests of the center
8. Assists leadership with program maintenance aspects as needed

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Required Experience
One (1) year or experience in higher education

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
An advanced Degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Experience working with university systems such as Banner, OneUSG Connect, Omni Update, and Blackboard
Previous experience in a supervisory role

Proposed Salary

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone, e-mail, and digital etiquette
