Job Duties:
Temp Hire Trainee NP for Mt. Olive CAC: Approximately 10 hours/week - onsite at MOCAC or TBCAC 1 day/week
July through end of December
- Attend training for medical CME rostering
- Shadow TEDI BEAR NP at MOCAC and other medical providers at TEDI BEAR CAC
- Attend Monthly MDT meetings in Wayne County as an observer/learner (3rd Mondays 10-11:30 am), be available for Duplin County MDT either virtually of in person (2nd Monday 12:30pm - 2:30pm) and others upon request.
Graduation from a physician assistant program approved by the N.C. Board of Medical Examiners and "approved to practice medical acts" based on education and experience by the Board of Medical Examiners and two years of experience in the specialty area of assignment; or licensed as a registered nurse by the Board of Nursing and graduation from a nurse practitioner program approved by the N.C. Joint Subcommittee, and two years of experience in the specialty area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
