The successful applicant will have an appointed service role as Program Director. NKH resides in the College of Health, Science, and Technology (CHST).

Faculty within College of Health, Science, & Technology at UCM support the university's mission of providing student-centered, quality education and are committed to students' success. This includes quality teaching, advising, collegiality, and communication. During contractual employment, faculty members are expected to be available to assist, engage, and respond to students, colleagues, departmental, college, and institutional needs.

This position is for a faculty whose appointed service role will be as Program Director. For this position, the expectation is a complimentary mix of teaching (graduate and undergraduate courses) in the discipline and management of the program. Teaching responsibilities may arise in related areas (e.g., Health Studies, Kinesiology). There is expectation of summer teaching, which aligns with the delivery of classes for the CAATE-accredited AT Program. Summer teaching includes a separate contract, and compensation is in addition to the traditional 9-month contract. Teaching assignments may include traditional, hybrid, and online environments. The Program Director duties include oversight and management of all aspects of the program, working collaboratively with the faculty and affiliates, guiding program assessment, overseeing the Athletic Training laboratory, and monitoring and maintaining compliance for CAATE accreditation. The UCM AT laboratory is well-furnished and spacious, with a full teaching space and a clinical/practical space. The laboratory and program are supported by a dedicated general operations budget and robust scholarship backing. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
