The developing Master of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Program at North Carolina A&T State University seeks a Director of Clinical Education. This is a 12-month, non-tenure-track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor.
The Director of Clinical Education oversees the clinical curriculum, working closely with the Clinical Coordinator and other members of the clinical team to manage student clinical placement, acquisition of clinical sites, recruitment of clinical preceptors, conducting clinical site evaluations, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Faculty in this role will also (i) utilize modern pedagogical skills in curriculum development instruction to be effective in the areas of course design, course delivery, assessment, and evaluation (ii) advise and mentor physician assistant students in independent research projects; (iii) provide service to the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, the College and University.
This individual will work closely with the Clinical Coordinator and members of the clinical team and collaborate with faculty, staff, preceptors, and healthcare affiliates. This position reports to the Program Director.
