Marketing Director (hybrid opportunity)

The candidate will be responsible for leading our marketing team and initiatives to expand the company’s website audience, increase user engagement, and grow revenue. This is a hybrid position based out of State College, PA.
Description
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the company's marketing strategy, working closely with company leadership and marketing team members.
- Lead and coach the marketing team to execute marketing projects and initiatives that support the company’s mission.
- Own and manage all marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and strategic marketing goals. Identify and recommend new marketing initiatives to support these goals.
- Utilize tools such as Google Analytics for market research, competitor analysis, and tracking key performance metrics. Translate those data insights into actionable strategies and provide monthly and quarterly performance reports.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, overseeing and approving marketing expenses as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years marketing experience (or 7+ years of experience and a marketing-related graduate degree or MBA), including 3 years marketing supervisory experience.
- Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
- Superior knowledge of marketing tools, particularly Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO analytics programs.
- Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and have a strong capacity for managing multiple projects at one time.
- Knowledge of the higher education industry is preferred.
