Position Description
TTUHSC Business Affairs is seeking a top full-stack developer with proven success delivering business solutions over the entire software development lifecycle.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Application Development, this position provides a unique and exciting opportunity to serve in a key administrative and technical role in the Application Development department. The position will provide the opportunity to make a significant impact on business processes at TTUHSC by working with high-performing teams to implement systems that improve business performance.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Determine business requirements and define application solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Serves as team lead and subject matter expert for database design, web design, and systems resource management
  • Assists with the following phases of systems implementation: evaluation, specification, design and deployment
  • Performs complex data analysis, querying, and troubleshooting
  • Provides back-up management of hardware, software, and security infrastructure
  • Documents and updates processes and procedures to align with Application Development operations
  • Works proactively with and under the direction of various leaders within Business Affairs' departments providing significant support and guidance with various systems implementations
  • Assists other departments with technical matters
  • Participates in training and professional development related to application development, business operations, finance, and leadership
  • Builds cross-functional relationships with internal customers across the institution
  • Recommends, develops and implements process improvements
  • Utilizes proactive, clear and professional communication
  • Performs other duties and completes other projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required and five years administrative or management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience in organizing and summarizing large amounts of data
  • Experience with governmental/fund accounting
  • Knowledge and use of ERP applications in higher education settings
  • Strong data analytics and querying skills, including Oracle and SQL
  • Experience with the full life-cycle development of business applications
  • Three or more years leading teams and working collaboratively across departments
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or related field
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in application development technology including Microsoft.NET, MVC, IIS, C# , javascript

Pay Basis: Monthly

Pay Statement
