Slate Implementation Partner

University Advancement seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Slate Implementation Partner to coordinate and support the implementation of Slate for our institution's fundraising, communications, and donor management needs. The Implementation Partner reports to the Slate Implementation Lead and performs essential responsibilities to ensuring successful custom configuration and integration of Sate as an enterprise system for Advancement. The Implementation partner also provides end user adoption orientation and training sessions and documentation (in-person, written, video) for Slate. The Implementation Partner will have a deep understanding higher education CRMs, and a proven track record of managing system transitions and implementing fundraising software solutions.

This is a full-time, fixed-term benefit eligible position that begins immediately and concludes at the end of the implementation cycle, with an anticipated conclusion date of December 19, 2025.

Essential Functions:
  • Support the end-to-end implementation process of Slate, including project planning, timeline management, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (development, communications, ITS, etc.) to define system requirements, goals, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the Slate Lead in the configuration and customization of Slate to meet the organization's fundraising needs.
  • Work closely with the Slate implementation team to ensure proper data migration, integration with Slate, and customization of workflows.
  • Assist in data import/export processes between systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting, ensuring all features and integrations function as intended.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on data migration and integration to ensure a smooth transition from Raiser's Edge to Slate.
  • Assist in development of training materials and sessions for end users on Slate best practices.
  • Provide ongoing user support for Raiser's Edge and Slate, ensuring that staff can effectively use the tools for fundraising and donor management.
  • Serve as a point of contact for questions related to Slate and Raiser's Edge functionality.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement in Slate functionality.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in data management, reporting, and integration processes in Raiser's Edge or a similar CRM system
  • Knowledge of data migration, system integrations, and database management.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve CRM technical issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with SQL and other database management tools is a plus
  • Ability to work on a fixed-term appointment for the duration of the implementation project. This role is expected to conclude by December 19, 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or training in Slate or Raiser's Edge
  • Previous experience in a nonprofit or higher education fundraising environment
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools within Raiser's Edge or Slate
  • Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI
Minimum Monthly Pay: $5,424 - Pay Commensurate with Experience
