The College of Business (COB) has been AACSB accredited for over 40 years. We offer BSBA, MBA, and MSA degrees and our School of Hospitality Management offers both a BS in Hospitality Management and an MS in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality. Additionally, the Miller School of Entrepreneurship offers a BS in Entrepreneurship. We are one of the largest Colleges of Business in the state with approximately 4,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students. To date, the COB has approximately 150 faculty members of the highest caliber, skilled in the scholarship of research, teaching, and application of knowledge. A strategic goal of the college is to create an environment where the faculty, staff, and students can thrive and be personally and professionally respected. The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management within the College of Business at ECU has approximately 1,100 undergraduate majors and over 20 faculty members and offers courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The marketing and supply chain management faculty promotes a collegial and stimulating environment that encourages intellectual collaboration and professional development through education, research, creative activities, and service.

Job Duties:
The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management within the College of Business has a full time Teaching Instructor position available beginning August 2025 with a possibility of January 2025 and invites candidates to complete the online application. The Instructor will teach twelve semester hours of undergraduate Supply Chain Management courses that will cover one or more of the following areas: Operations and Supply Chain Management, Business Decision Modeling, Management Science, and/or Quantitative Methods. Specifically, the Operations and Supply Chain Management and Business Decision Modeling courses will most likely have the highest need. Descriptions of these courses can be found here: https://business.ecu.edu/mscm/courses/. The position requires both face-to-face and online instruction, based on departmental needs. Candidate will also be expected to provide service to the university, community, and profession, and any other duties as assigned by the department chair.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Masters degree with at least 18 credit hours of Graduate coursework in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related discipline from an accredited business school that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines and AACSB standards. Alternately, Masters degree with 5 years professional experience in the teaching field or related discipline from an accredited business school that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines and AACSB standards.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation:

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Relevant work experience and/or significant college level teaching experience in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Business Decision Modeling, Management Science and/or Quantitative Methods as well as Supply Chain Management Certificate are preferred.
