Position Overview



The Department of Health Sciences & Nursing at Rider University is seeking a Clinical Placement Coordinator. This individual will develop, coordinate, and approve graduate student clinical placements; maintain and update files of available clinical sites each semester; handle all correspondence with prospective and current clinical sites; maintain clinical clearances on graduate students, maintain databases of preceptors, practice site information, and site visit quality assurance forms. The Clinical Placement Coordinator will manage administrative tasks for student clinical placements, including cultivating and identifying new clinical placement sites, leading the establishment of affiliation agreements, traveling for site visits annually, and managing the clinical database. The Coordinator will act as a clinical liaison between program faculty and clinical site personnel. This individual may also assist undergraduate students in the Health Sciences and Exercise Science to identify and prepare for internship experiences.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years related experience
  • Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with New Jersey Healthcare Facilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
