- Scope of Position
Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct, Avionics to work on the Godfrey, IL campus. - Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs)
- Develop and teach avionics courses;
- Create, administer, and grade assignments;
- Calculate and submit grades for students;
- Remain current on processes and practices in the field of avionics;
- Provide support and guidance for students as needed.
- Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
- At least 2000 hours of work experience in Avionics;
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Avionics or closely related field;
- Teaching experience at the community college level;
- Experience with curriculum development.
For Academic Year 2024-2025, the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $818 per lecture-equivalent hour.
