Scope of Position

Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct, Avionics to work on the Godfrey, IL campus. Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs)

  • Develop and teach avionics courses;
  • Create, administer, and grade assignments;
  • Calculate and submit grades for students;
  • Remain current on processes and practices in the field of avionics; 
  • Provide support and guidance for students as needed.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

  • At least 2000 hours of work experience in Avionics;
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Avionics or closely related field; 
  • Teaching experience at the community college level;
  • Experience with curriculum development.

For Academic Year 2024-2025, the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $818 per lecture-equivalent hour.
