The School of Business and Technology at Seton Hill University invites applications for a dynamic and experienced Graduate Program Director effective August 2025. This is a twelve-month position with faculty rank. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in curriculum development and assessment, as well as oversight of effective online instruction to ensure our IACBE accredited MBA program and forthcoming graduate degrees maintain academic excellence and industry relevance.
About the Position:
The Graduate Program Director will shape our graduate offerings by leading curriculum development, collaborating with faculty to enhance program quality, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and student needs. This leadership role requires academic expertise, strategic vision, and administrative skills to foster a thriving graduate community. The position reports to the Dean and collaborates with the Director of the Office of Graduate and Online Bachelors and Certificates.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Graduate Program Director will design and enhance graduate curricula to meet academic and industry standards, collaborating with faculty to develop new courses and programs. They will manage daily program operations, including scheduling and resource allocation while coordinating with academic advisors to support student success. The Director will facilitate professional development for faculty and mentor graduate students, addressing their needs to improve the academic experience. Strategic planning is essential, involving the expansion of graduate offerings and building industry partnerships for internships and career placement. Additionally, the Director will implement assessment tools to evaluate program effectiveness, prepare performance and accreditation reports, manage the program budget, lead special projects such as accreditation processes, and participate in university committees to support the academic community.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Significant experience in graduate program administration or a similar academic leadership role.
- Proven expertise in online instruction and course development.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and academic program management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Industry experience.
- Doctorate in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience developing and managing multiple graduate programs.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and higher education governance.
