One-Year Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology
The Psychology Department at Ohio Wesleyan University seeks to fill a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in psychology. The successful candidate will teach three courses in Fall 2025 and three courses in Spring 2026, including introductory psychology and personality. Depending on their area of expertise, other courses the candidate may teach include the psychology of women and gender and behavioral decision making.
The successful candidate will join a department that is committed to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion and should value teaching students from diverse backgrounds (e.g., first-generation students, students from low-income families, students of color, LGBT students, students with disabilities).
Minimum Qualifications:
· Doctoral degree candidate.
· Experience teaching psychology at the undergraduate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
· PhD in psychology
