Job Description
The Hope College Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for one Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics Instruction beginning Fall 2025. This is a renewable appointment. The primary responsibilities include teaching classes in the mathematics, statistics, and/or data science curriculum and department and college service. Opportunities exist for working with actuarial students, consulting projects, and/or research groups. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. A Master's degree or Ph.D in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is required with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics and/or statistics. Interest in teaching statistics and data science is an advantage.

A Master's degree or Ph.D in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is required with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics and/or statistics.
