Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
The State University of New York (SUNY) College at Canton invites qualified applicants for a full-time, Director of the Business Department position in the School of Business and Leadership beginning September 1, 2025.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Business Administration or a related field (Ph.D. or DBA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Finance of Marketing specialization but open to other areas.
Duties:
The School of Business and Liberal Arts invites applications for the Director of the Business Department position. We are seeking an energetic and forward-looking leader with strong academic and professional accomplishments who can serve in this key leadership position to drive the department to new heights. The director will have the opportunity to shape the business department and collaborate with the visionary dean to advance the department and help define the new future for the department.
The business department is entering an exciting phase of transformation. The business department is working to reimagine how we prepare students for the dynamic world of business. There is a planned move to a newly renovated building in the future, and it is working on several new and innovative business and interdisciplinary programs and delivery modalities in AI, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Marketing programs. You will also be able to collaborate with dynamic and engaged faculty and staff in the department to shape the future of business education and make a lasting impact!
