- MA/MFA in Arts Administration
- Professional experience in arts management
- Ability to teach courses in arts management at all levels
- A significant professional profile as an arts manager, administrator, or consultant
- A track record of creative and research activities that can include but is not limited to publications, conference presentations, curating exhibitions, directing or performing at or with a nationally recognized arts organization, service on an arts board (as officer or general board member), etc.
Preferred
- Ph.D or D.M.A. preferred
- Online teaching experience
- Related areas of special interest in Theatre or Museum Management, the Arts Business, or Artist Management

Description:The Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts at the University of Oklahoma seeks applicants for a Renewable Term Assistant Professor of Arts Management/Entrepreneurship with a starting date of August 16, 2025. The successful candidate will teach 3 courses per semester (Fall and Spring) selected from the OU Online MA in Arts Management, in-person courses in our Arts Management & Entrepreneurship Minor and/or our Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship. We seek a generalist who would be able to teach any of our core courses. The College of Fine Arts faculty are also expected to participate in functions such as advisement, liaising with internship sites, serving on committees, participating in recruitment and retention, and other activities as assigned as well as maintain a track record of creative and/or research activities.
The Online MA in Arts Management Arts, Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship, and Arts Management and Entrepreneurship (AME) Undergraduate Minor, at the University of Oklahoma, are programs designed for students interested in building a career in the arts in an exciting and ever-changing marketplace.
