Position Description

Major/Essential Functions
- Manages the SOM finance team, which is responsible for reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, and state reporting.
- Responsible for preparing annual and monthly reports for all campuses.
- Manages contractual payments from partner hospitals.
- Monitors SOM budgets throughout the year and prepares annual budgets.
- Presents financial reports at various meetings.
- Serves on various committees.
- Provides accounting oversight and reporting for the Dean's Office funds.
- Oversees financial analysis of physician service agreements with contracted partners, including hospital partners.
- Oversees uncompensated care reporting and submission.
- Has strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare financial experience, preferably with an academic medical center.
- Experience managing a large budget.
- Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle finances.
