Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.


The faculty member for Obstetrics & Gynecology will contribute to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Teaching to residents and medical students rotating in clinic.
  • Inpatient and outpatient care including examination of patients.
  • Ordering x-rays and laboratory tests to help make an accurate diagnosis and planning and execution of treatment.
  • Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Occasional Duties
  • As assigned by the chair. May conduct lectures, ground rounds or teaching sessions with residents and/or medical students.
Required Qualifications
  • M.D., D.O., or Foreign Equivalent
  • Completion or will be completing an OB/GYN residency.
  • Board Eligible, or in the process of becoming board eligible, in OB/GYN.
  • Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License

Pay Statement

Schedule Details
Clinic 8:00am-5:00pm; call at the hospital

Travel Required: Up to 25%
