Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Business Manager, the incumbent will support the department including the residency, fellowship, training and clerkship programs and their travel needs. Incumbent will assist with management of training program compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate MedicalEducation (ACGME), and Commission of Accreditation standards, LSUHSC-NO policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements. The incumbent in this position will exercise a high level of judgment and initiative; perform all duties in a highly responsible and independent manner; provide administrative support, as needed. Excellent communication, team-oriented attitude and a cultural sensitivity and attunement to the needs of the program(s) are needed by the candidate.
