Assistant Director for Campus Programming

The Assistant Director for Campus Programming is responsible for sustaining the development of a vibrant student activities community and facilitating student involvement by providing leadership and advisement for major student programming initiatives on campus. Programmatic areas include Carolina Productions, USC Homecoming, USC Dance Marathon, the Carolina-Clemson Blood Drive, and Gamecock Entertainment. Responsible for contract negotiations, mitigating risk, budget management, and coordinating with various campus and community partners to produce high quality and impactful traditional events and campus programs.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Advise Carolina Productions in all aspects of programmatic efforts- including contract negotiations, mitigating risk, budget management, and coordinating with various campus and community partners
  • Execute and manage milestone student events
  • Supervise one staff member, and GA or interns
  • Tracking and collection of data for outreach outcomes
