Job Description
*
The Associate Director in the Office of Academic Integrity is responsible for assisting the Director in developing and implementing student academic programs and functions.
Typical functions may include:
- Oversee all aspects of the Integrity Council investigations process for contested academic integrity cases.
- Independently conducting and/or assisting with mandatory informational meetings with students reported for Academic Integrity Code violations.
- Independently teaching required integrity awareness classes and assisting with content development.
- Assisting and/or independently conducting presentations for students, staff, and faculty about OU's academic integrity system and expectations.
- Assisting in advisement of the Integrity Council, the student organization responsible for articulating and upholding community standards of academic integrity on the Norman Campus.
- Assisting with scheduling and conducting hearings under the Academic Integrity Code.
- Assisting and/or independently developing social media and other forms of outreach for students and faculty. Assisting in correspondence and recordkeeping.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree, AND:
- 4 years of relevant experience
Skills:
- Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to compose detailed case notes, reports, flyers and/or conduct oral presentations tailored to appropriate audiences.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong knowledge of the post-secondary education sector and student conduct.
- Experience with coordinating and facilitating workshops, training events, or speaking engagements.
- Ability to handle confidential material and to maintain confidentiality.

Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Departmental Preferences:
- Familiarity with and ability to implement Academic Integrity Code and related policy and procedures.
- Familiarity with and ability to implement relevant compliance requirements, for example FERPA and Open Records.
- Ability to advise students and conduct a class.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite and Zoom.
- Experience using Microsoft Access.
- Ability to work independently.
- Hours may include some evenings and weekends for student advising.
- Occasional in-state travel is possible.
