Registered Nurse – Allergy, Immunization, and Travel

Perform patient care to the students at the University of South Carolina including assisting with the immunization clearance process for incoming freshman and transfer students, administering vaccines and completing travel consultations. Serves as the occupational health nurse for staff working in Student Health i.e., verifying the employees immunization status, administering necessary immunizations, performing PPD testing and fit test employees for an N95 mask.
Primary Duties:
- Administers allergens and vaccines, performs travel consultations and provides patient education.
- Assists with the University’s immunization requirement clearance process.
- Is flexible with their work schedule to assist during periods of high work volume i.e. orientation, and international student intake.
