Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (now known as Franklin Cummings Tech) is a nationally accredited non-profit, technical college serving Eastern Massachusetts and beyond. With a mission to deliver transformative technical and trade education that leads to economic advancement, we offer a unique mix of certificate and degree granting programs that appeal to enterprising students and respond to employer's demand for a well-prepared workforce. Intentional partnerships with the industries we serve coupled with high graduation and job placement rates, recently attracted the largest philanthropic gift in the history of the college from the Cummings Foundation.
Last year, Franklin Cummings Tech educated more than 1,000 learners across three student types: 1) certificate and degree seekers, 2) continuing education clients, and 3) high schoolers pursuing early college. As further evidence that our mission holds resonance, this year the college tracked a 25% year over year jump in fall new student enrollment and applications soared.
We seek team members who are optimistic, entrepreneurial, data-informed, and excited about the prospect of continuing to strategically increase student success outcomes and total enrollment from 1,000 learners today to at least 1,500 learners by 2030. Join us in this mission driven work!

Responsibilities
- Reach out to prospective students, conduct 10-minute calls, and encourage them to apply.
- Reach out to applicants, guide them through the admissions and financial aid process, and prepare them for registration.
- Attend and assist during Enrollment Weeks, Orientation, and the First Week of Classes to support last-minute student needs.
- Enter and maintain accurate records of student interactions and updates in admissions systems.
- Communicate persuasively and accurately about the different programs and opportunities we offer.
- Attend events, on-the-spot-admissions, and faculty visits at school/nonprofit partners that lead to mutually beneficial partnerships and student applicants.
- Work with Michael to design and implement an action plan for the new opportunity with Gould Construction Institute, where we reach out to suburban schools in and around Woburn in collaboration with Gould.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven relationship-building skills - able to build long-lasting partnerships built on trust
- Proven listening skills - able to draw out and understand the pain points of students or staff
- Able to adjust the story of our college to match the particular needs of their audience

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Results-driven and dependable

- Appreciation for working within diverse environments and teams
- Willingness to balance office work and extensive local travel to prospect sites
- Role requires irregular hours and some night and weekend event coverage
- Proficiency/fluency in Spanish (written and oral) is a plus
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Prior admissions experience a plus
- Valid Driver's License
