Job Description
The Executive Director of Relations will serve in a leadership capacity for the Albion Center for Professional Development tasked with overseeing all public relations and solutions management. The Executive Director will build and maintain relationships with Albion stakeholders both internally and externally and assist with center strategy.
This position may be eligible for full-time remote work; does not need to have proximity to an ISU campus location, however, may require occasional travel to campus.
Key Responsibilities

This position will remain open until it is filled; however, priority consideration will be given to applications received on or before December 8, 2024. Salary will be between $95,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience. All offers of employment are conditional pending the successful completion of a background investigation, provided by HireRight.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build relationships with schools, districts, education associations and state departments of education in key areas of interest nationally (travel up to 35%)
- Build and maintain relationships within the university including collaboration on outreach initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships within the community, region, and state of Idaho
- Manage solutions for the center including public communications
- Oversee Albion partnerships and outreach efforts
- Assist and lead strategic planning initiatives for the center
- The ability to occasionally handle questions or concerns and offer solutions outside regular office hours (weekends, evenings, or during university closures/holidays)
- Master's degree
- 7+ years' experience in a leadership or relations position
- 3+ years' experience in higher education
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain focus and productivity during periods of high volume or stress
- Knowledge of Idaho State University and State of Idaho policies and history
- Demonstrable experience with maintaining long-term professional relationships
