Position Highlights

Centennial Hall Event Attendants (Customer Service Representative II) will perform a variety of duties to support our patrons attending events or seeking information about events and facilities; including, but not limited to, collecting event tickets, directing patrons to seating, and selling tickets in the box office. Event Attendants also act as ushers and screen for contraband materials/items brought to the events and will assist with set-up and take-down of lobby/patio. These are on-call positions; hours and schedule vary based on events and attendance. Schedule primarily occurs during evening hours and weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell tickets, take payments, and provide accurate information to patrons of Centennial Hall. Supervise student staff
    intermittently.
  • Collects tickets from patrons and ensures tickets are valid.
  • Directs patrons to their seating locations.
  • Provides information to patrons regarding the events and special facilities for the disabled and provides directions and/or
    parking alternatives request for visitors, students, staff, and faculty.
  • Helps with set-up and take-down of lobby/patio
  • Follows all ADA and safety protocols.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to frequently lift/move/transport 20lbs of weight.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.
