Harvard Business School (HBS) Executive Education offers more than 60 executive development programs annually. As part of the Marketing & Sales team, you will work with accomplished executives from all over the world who are considering our programs. In addition, you will surface insights from your customer interactions that will inform business decisions across HBS Executive Education. Candidates should have a customer-focused mindset and an aptitude for continuous learning.
Position Description
This is a 40-hour/week, overtime-eligible position.
This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Boston, MA based campus. Executive Education Marketing & Sales staff are expected to be onsite a minimum of 2 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday - Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.
We may conduct candidate interviews virtually (phone and/or via Zoom) and/or in-person for this role.

Job Summary

Position Description
- Serving as the primary point of contact for executives considering HBS Executive Education programs.
- Consulting with executives on which program offerings best meet their learning objectives.
- Outlining the HBS competitive positioning and advantage in conversations with individual and organizational prospects.
- Helping customers navigate the program selection and application processes.
- Building long-term relationships with potential applicants, past participants, alumni, and learning and development executives.
- Presenting to current participants during lifelong learning information sessions.
- Meeting with prospects and participants during designated office hours.
- Representing HBS Executive Education at events and conferences as needed.
- Contributing to the enrollment goals for the HBS Executive Education portfolio.
- Sharing market and competitive insights with the leadership team to inform strategic decisions.
- Elevating customer needs and pain points to drive customer experience enhancements.
- Staying current on faculty research, program content, relevant leadership topics, and industry trends.
- Maintaining inquiry, opportunity, and activity prospect data in Salesforce.
- This role is responsible for other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- 5+ years of experience in administrative support role(s) and/or related experience is required.
- Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.
- Requires a team player who can work with multiple groups within Executive Education and across HBS in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload based on established strategic priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be comfortable communicating with executives via phone, email, Zoom, and in-person meetings.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) and Salesforce preferred.
- Prior experience in executive education or executive development is a plus.
