The University of Olivet, a liberal arts institution with a historical commitment to inclusion, diversity, and social justice, seeks full-time, tenure-track professors to join our vibrant and growing programs serving undergraduate students on-campus in Olivet, Michigan.

Nursing Professors will join The University of Olivet at an exciting moment of growth for The University’s nursing programs. The University is currently accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) to offer the Bachelor of Science in Nursing in a RN-BSN track. The University is currently hiring to expand its nursing programs to include a prelicensure BSN track and other nursing education programs. The University of Olivet’s Board of Trustees has approved the implementation of the new pre-licensure BSN track. The renovation of the nursing simulation lab to support the pre-licensure BSN track is completed and waiting for the inaugural nursing students in of Fall 2025. 

MSN in Nurse Education required, Doctorate in Nursing preferred. Interested individuals should be experienced in the construction and delivery of in-person courses using a simulation lab and should be comfortable with both synchronous and asynchronous methods of delivery. Candidates must demonstrate successful teaching at the undergraduate level and a commitment to teaching students in an inclusive, ethnically diverse environment. We seek candidates who embrace Olivet’s relationship-based approach to pedagogy and who embody our commitment to inclusivity. The University seeks individuals to build curriculum, teach courses and clinicals. These high energy individuals will be critical in growing our new program.
