Full-Time Faculty Position: Sport and Exercise Physiology
The Department of Sport and Exercise Physiology at DeSales University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Sport and Exercise Physiology to begin in the Fall semester, 2025. A Ph.D. or A.B.D. in exercise physiology or a related field is required. Professional certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is highly desirable. We are hiring a Non-Tenure, Full-Time Faculty position at a rank commensurate with experience with the potential to convert to a Tenure-Track position.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate-level courses in Exercise Physiology, Fitness Assessment, Exercise Prescription, and related topics. Since DeSales University places a primary emphasis on teaching, preference will be given to candidates with significant teaching experience. Student advisement, mentoring of undergraduate research activity, and coordination of the internship program are additional expectations of the position.
