Pharmacist
Job Description
The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine on the Virginia Tech Campus in Blacksburg operates a busy and dynamic pharmacy and is searching for it's next Pharmacist. To provide support in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in accordance with policies/procedures/applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
Registered Pharmacist licensed to practice in Virginia. Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with demonstrated skills and abilities as a Registered Pharmacist. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with and support clinicians, house officers, and senior veterinary students in a clinical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge/experience in a college or education setting. Hospital pharmacy experience. Experience in retail pharmacy. Experience in veterinary medicine.
