Position Highlights
The Department of Marketing (MKTG) is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position. The selected applicant will be expected to teach Marketing courses and engage in student experience enrichment, for example, by serving as the faculty advisor of a Marketing student club.The Department of Marketing is one of seven academic units in the Eller College of Management offering undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. It is internationally recognized for pioneering research, innovative curriculum, and distinguished faculty. This position is expected to teach primarily in person in Tucson.
This career-track appointment is not eligible for tenure.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach the equivalent of six
Marketing courses per academic year. - Participate in service responsibilities at the department, college and/or university level.
- Mentor individual students and/or student teams, including those from underrepresented backgrounds.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications for Lecturer:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least one year of in-person teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Experience teaching diverse audiences, evidenced by teaching experience, evaluations and/or awards.
- Must be available to teach in person at the University of Arizona in Tucson Arizona.
Qualifications for Senior Lecturer:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least six years of teaching experience at the college or university level, including at least one year of in-person teaching experience.
- Experience teaching diverse audiences, evidenced by teaching experience, evaluations and/or awards.
- Must be available to teach in person at the University of Arizona in Tucson Arizona.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Marketing, or related field, prior to the start date.
- Experience developing and teaching large college classes.
- Experience with professional sales.
- 5 or more years of professional experience in marketing, or equivalent.
