Executive Director of the Trinity Plus Experience
Founded in 1823, Trinity College is the preeminent liberal arts college in an urban setting. The second oldest institution of higher education in Connecticut, Trinity prepares students to be bold, independent thinkers who lead transformative lives. This is an on-site, in-person role. The anticipated start date is spring 2025, as negotiated with the vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty.
This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the success of students' experiences with Trinity Plus: Trinity College's curriculum, which combines a core liberal arts education with a powerful set of practical work-like experiences for which students can earn credit. The executive director will be expected to work toward actualizing the full potential of these opportunities for students, both academic and co-curricular. Reporting to the vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty, the executive director will work to connect every student to the opportunities of Trinity Plus, providing them with "real-world" developmental experiences that are aligned with the college's mission and strategic goals.
The executive director will envision, coordinate, and drive an institution-wide culture of support around accessing the opportunities of Trinity Plus, including the advising and mentoring of students. Passionate about questions of access in higher education, this highly strategic leader will ensure sustainable success by building an infrastructure of support. They will work across offices to ensure that all groups are able to deliver a consistent message and can guide students through a seamless experience. The executive director will be a purposefully collaborative leader, who sees themselves as an institutional partner working to overcome silos. They will be creative and ambitious in removing barriers to success and growing the resources students need to thrive academically.

Qualifications
Trinity College seeks an seeks an energetic leader, skilled administrator, and collaborative campus partner to serve as its first executive director of the Trinity Plus Experience. Minimum qualifications include an advanced degree and at least five years of relevant experience, though candidates with a bachelor's degree and extensive relevant experience will be considered. The search committee particularly invites application from candidates with knowledge and experience in experiential learning, academic advising, and high-impact practices in higher education, and a history of facilitating effective partnerships, driving innovation, and launching and scaling programs and initiatives.
