Duties & Responsibilities
- Salesforce Platform Management - Lead advanced configuration, customization, and ongoing administration of the Salesforce CRM platform to support complex and evolving business requirements. Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new features and tools to optimize the system.
- Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with senior business leaders to understand strategic objectives, translating them into technical requirements. Influence decision-making by providing insights and recommendations for leveraging Salesforce to achieve key organizational outcomes.
- Data Strategy and Analytics - Oversee data quality audits, implement rigorous data management procedures, and develop advanced reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights. Serve as the expert advisor on data-driven decision-making across departments.
- User Management and Enablement - Design and manage a robust user access framework, including advanced security protocols, permission sets, and role hierarchies. Lead training initiatives to empower users, promote best practices, and enhance system adoption.
- System Integration and Upgrades - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other business-critical systems. Manage system upgrades, data migrations, and process improvements, ensuring seamless execution and minimal business disruption. Document system configurations and provide strategic input for future enhancements.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Proven track record in managing complex Salesforce environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce security models, data access, and permission sets.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including advanced customization and automation techniques.
- Strong strategic thinking with an ability to align Salesforce solutions with organizational goals.
- Expertise in data analytics and reporting to provide valuable business insights.
- Effective communication skills to serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and staying current with Salesforce releases and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field AND minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- OR
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator).
- Extensive experience with Salesforce automation tools (e.g., workflows, process builder, validation rules).
- Strong experience in data management, quality assurance, and analytics.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
