Job Description Summary:
This fellow will work under the supervision of KUMC-W faculty psychologists to obtain advanced competency in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. The fellow will provide quality patient care to children and adolescents in the outpatient clinic. The fellow will develop a plan for didactics training experiences with the faculty supervisor at the beginning of the year, which may include attendance at Grand Rounds, journal club, national conferences and other relevant experiences agreed on by the fellow and supervisor.

Job Duties:
Provide child and adolescent clinical psychology services under faculty supervision in the faculty outpatient clinics at KUMS-W. Services may include assessment, group therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy sessions. Involvement in scholarly activity or research projects under faculty supervision.

The annual salary is $ 58,656.
Required Qualifications:
Must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology in an APA accredited psychology program by date of hire
Must have completed an APA accredited psychology internship program by date of hire.
Must be able to practice and obtain temporary license in the State of Kansas as a licensed psychologist by date of hire.
Must be eligible to take the licensing exam for clinical psychologist during the first year of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with the administration of a broad range of clinical psychology testing for children and adolescents.
Familiar with evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
