Assistant Professor of Economics and Business Administration
The Department of Economics and Business Administration at Presbyterian College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in Data Analytics and Public Health, starting in August 2025. The successful candidate will have teaching or research interests that include data analytics, health informatics, and public health that would allow them to successfully contribute to undergraduate majors related to business administration, data analytics, and public health. The successful candidate will also have expertise in Python programming, the application of informatics in public health, and public health policy.
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research, student advising, service to the College, and community engagement is essential for successful applicants. The candidate selected will be expected to offer seven courses per year (3-4 teaching load). Applications from those with a Ph.D. in Data Science, Health Informatics, Biomedical and Health Sciences, Public Health, or related fields will be considered. Candidates who represent diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
