Simpson College, a private, nationally recognized regional college grounded in the liberal arts tradition and affiliated with the United Methodist Church invites nominations and applications for the position of: Assistant Professor of Business Management, tenure-track.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or other appropriate terminal degree in management, give evidence of scholarly potential and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Relevant professional experience plus an MBA will also be considered. Likely teaching responsibilities will include: introduction to management, organization and behavior, entrepreneurship, insurance, and business strategy. Business analytics would be beneficial. Full-time teaching load requires six courses per year.

Qualifications
The position will begin August 22nd, 2024 and requires a Ph.D. or other appropriate terminal degree, or an MBA plus relevant professional experience, interdisciplinary interest and experience and/or expressed interest in working at a primarily residential, liberal arts institution. Candidates for the position must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and a willingness to engage students in scholarship, research and/or creative work. Faculty members at Simpson College are expected to participate in faculty governance, student advising, new student recruitment, and in other ways to demonstrate support for the mission of the institution.
