Position Highlights
This dining services position performs various duties necessary in the preparation of the service of food and provides quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests. The DSA, Sr works on complex problems that require significant judgment and initiative. They are expected to independently propose solutions to problems for manager review, requiring innovation and creativity. Join us in creating a safe, sanitary, and delightful experience for our community. This position is an academic position. This position will be under the Academic Year schedule, the position will have the summers off and start back up in August and continue through May.

- Inputs,
receives, and puts away storeroom orders. Prepares unit for opening,
stocking, signs, cleanliness, and equipment. - Retrieves banks, prepares
market and food as needed. Monitors food quality and completes product
orders as required. - Ensures all
areas are staffed, delegates job assignments. Openly communicates with
staff and supervisor. Actively develops and supports a team-based focus
within the Student Union. - Rings
up orders accurately, accepts money, and returns correct change. Counts bank to verify accuracy, enters totals on reports as
required - Greets and
serves customers in a friendly, courteous manner. Provides suggestions and
input to supervisor. Actively solves problems wherever possible. Works
harmoniously with coworkers. Oversees and assists with weekly inventory
and controls labor and food costs. - Must be
available to work weekends, holidays, day shift or nights. Additional
duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of
Food Pro and forecasting, service needs, and modify delivery information. - Knowledge of
and actively supports labor cost and food cost budgets.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to transport/move a maximum of 50 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school
diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience
required. - Minimum of 5
years of relevant experience required. - Must be able to work weekends, evenings, days,
and holidays.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
