Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
The Department of Computer Science resides in the College of Computing & Software Engineering at Kennesaw State University. The department has more than 2200 undergraduate students in the ABET-accredited BS in Computer Science program, and over 400 graduate students in the MS in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Computer Science programs.
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for one semester (Spring 2025), full-time, non-tenure track, Limited Term Instructor or Limited Term Assistant Professor of Computer Science faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science with a preferred start date of January 2025. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the area of computer science.
- Teaching either face-to-face, hybrid, or fully online.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
To teach undergraduate courses:
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in computer science or a closely related discipline is required.
OR
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.
To teach graduate courses:
- A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in computer science or a related discipline is required.
